For members of HEIANDO Kyoto, Hiro Kiyokawa has created a "Kintsugi Tool Box".
In the box, there are gears that are purely made in Japan, including urushi lacquer, brushes, gold powder and powdered clay, and so on.
You can restore about 20 vessels that has small chips with this tool box.

日本有数の漆産地・岩手県浄法寺の国産漆を、京都の漆屋で精製していただきました。
特選本生漆 30g
本黒漆 30g

●筆
京都の老舗筆工房の手作りによる天然の動物の毛を用いた筆です。
面相筆：毛先はイタチ、軸は竹軸を使用しています。細い線を描くのに用います。
平筆：毛先は馬の毛、軸は天然竹材を使用しています。平らな面を塗るのに用います。
毛棒：毛先は狸、軸に天然竹材を使用しています。金粉を蒔く際に用います。
●ヘラ・定盤（じょうばん）
檜へら：漆と上新粉、砥の粉を混ぜる作業に使用します。1本1本、平安堂京都で削っています。
竹べら：竹は京都嵯峨野産で、漆材料を断面に乗せるために使用します。1本1本、平安堂京都で削っています。
定盤：木目が美しい朴（ほお）の木に漆を染み込ませて強度を高めました。長年お使いいただくと漆が木目に浸透し、鏡面のような輝きになります。
●金粉・金箔・真綿
高純度の金を、金沢の金職人が金箔と金粉に加工しました。
金粉：正味0.5g
金箔：1枚
真綿：金粉を蒔く際に用います。御蚕の糸です。
●外箱と風呂敷・粉類
風呂敷と外箱：京都西陣で江戸時代末期から続く織物会社に依頼し、有職文様の麻の葉の風呂敷と外箱を作りました。
米粉：国内産無添加の上新粉を漆に混ぜることで接着の働きをします。
砥の粉：山の土を細かく砕いた国産の砥の粉です。漆と混ぜて欠損部分を埋める働きをします。
● Lacquer
We have selected Japanese lacquer from Joboji, one of Japan's leading lacquer producing areas, and refined it at a lacquer shop in Kyoto.
・Japanese Raw urushi 30g
・Japanese Black urushi 30g
・Japanese Bengara urushi 30g
● Brush
The brushes are handmade from natural animal hair by a brush studio in Kyoto.
・Mensou brush (Face drawing brush): to apply urushi lacquer. originally made for doll face drawing,
itʼs used for thin lines to draw.
・Kumano brush: to painting large, flat surfaces.
・Ke-bo: to sprinkling with gold powder. Do not put water or urushi lacquer into this brush.
● spatula and palette
・Japanese cypress spatula: to mix lacquer with clay or rice
・Bamboo spatula: to apply sabi urushi or nori urushi.
・Palette: wood made, type of magnolia.

Processed in Kanazawa, about two-hour-away from Kyoto.
